North Coast Tanks was initially contacted by EKV Plumbing to build 1 large in-situ Concrete Water Tank (T44 Roof bearing) for Kane Constructions PS1 Building at Springfield in 2014. This project was required to obtain a Green Star Environmental accreditation meaning our tank needed to be green star rated.
In consultation with their suppliers North Coast Tanks was able to reach this accreditation by adjusting the materials used during construction
North Coast Tanks constructed this tank within a week from initial induction to final strip. Accreditation was achieved by using Mat 4 concrete and Mat 5 reinforcing steel during the construction process resulting in the 5 Star Green Star Accreditation

RE: North Coast Tanks Testimonial
North Coast Tanks was engaged by Kane to build a 112,000L concrete water tank with T44 roof load bearing capacity on the $55 million GE HQ project in Springfield, Queensland.
The knowledge of Craig and his team became evident after the initial consultation. The team provided an effective water storage solution with the construction of their engineer designed tank. The use of Green Star materials also proved to be beneficial in maintaining the projects overall 5 Star Green Star rating.
As with all our projects, time and budget are important factors. North Coast Tanks were able to deliver on both aspects while maintaining a professional and safe work environment.
I would recommend North Coast Tanks for any large scale water solution projects in the future.
